Westfield Good Festival is back this May with two unmissable weekends packed with workshops and pop-ups for pre-loved fashion enthusiasts.

From how to style your second-hand gems to how to turn them into money, Westfield Good Festival 2025 awaits you with a variety of events.

Westfield Good Festival 2025: The Dates

Flagship sustainability event returns to Westfield London (W12 7SL), from the 16th to the 18th May, and Westfield Stratford City (E20 1EJ), from the 23rd to the 25th May, with a vibrant programme of free workshops, masterclasses, and eco-conscious experiences to inspire and empower visitors to embrace sustainable choices across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

(H4) The Main Event: ‘Style to Sell Studio’ With Bay Garnett

At the heart of this year’s festival is the ‘Style to Sell Studio’, an exclusive activation at Westfield London, led by celebrity stylist and ‘Queen of Thrift’, Bay Garnett. This special event is designed to upskill visitors to become experts in turning their pre-loved fashion into profit.

The Westfield Good Festival invites visitors to bring up to five items of clothing or accessories they no longer wear to learn how to restyle them by a team of expert stylists led by renowned fashion sustainability advocate and former fashion editor, Bay Garnett. Bay will make a special in-person appearance at Westfield London on Saturday, 17th May from 12-7 pm, offering guests the chance to receive her expert styling advice firsthand.

Nailing the art of styling and shooting for resale is key to becoming a success on resale platforms such as Depop. The right style advice, as well as key insights on how to light and shoot your product, can be the difference between second-hand shoppers scrolling past or stopping to purchase.

A professional photographer will also be on hand to direct the savvy sellers on how to capture high-quality images against carefully curated backdrops. Photos will be optimised for platforms like Depop, ensuring your garments are showcased at their best for prospective buyers. Whether you are new to reselling or a seasoned seller looking to elevate your listings, this interactive experience offers expert guidance on turning your wardrobe into a sustainable source of income.

Bay Garnett, Fashion Editor and Stylist, said: “Most people have a fortune (and special pieces to fall back in love with!) hanging in their wardrobe and yet they mostly ignore it, as they don’t feel they have the tools to transform them into something desirable. I’m excited to empower visitors to rework their garments and transform them into something that’s not only stylish but also resale-ready. (Or, ‘you can get out there and wear again-ready’.)

You’d be surprised how a little restyling or customisation can change up a piece of previously unloved clothing. I’m a huge champion of second-hand shopping – it’s better for both the planet and your wallet. I can’t wait to see what challenges visitors will bring me at the event!”

Activities At Westfield Good Festival 2025

Alongside the ‘Style to Sell Studio’, the Westfield Good Festival offers a host of activities to educate and inspire the visitors:

  • Depop Marketplace: a curated pop-up featuring six of Depop’s top sellers, showcasing vintage, upcycled, and unique fashion finds.
  • Creative Workshops & Masterclasses: daily sessions led by Depop and LOANHOOD, covering how to turn a love for second-hand fashion into a business, how to stand out on resale platforms, and sustainable techniques like upcycling and denim repair.
  • SOJO Alterations & Repairs (‘Fix & Fit’ pop-up): each day, the first 30 visitors can enjoy free clothing alterations (up to £40 value) to help refresh and extend the life of their wardrobe.
  • Refill & Reimagine with Kiehl’s: learn how to make your beauty routine more sustainable with free skincare consultations, eco-friendly product swaps, and gifts for recycling empty beauty containers.

Creative Workshops & Circular Masterclasses

The Workshop Zone at Westfield Good Festival, open daily from 12 pm to 6:30 pm, will offer a mix of hands-on sessions, encouraging visitors of all ages and abilities to explore their creativity. From crafting to sustainable fashion, there's something for everyone.

Depop will lead a series of daily masterclasses focused on engaging with the circular economy through practical, inspiring topics. These sessions aim to empower individuals to make conscious choices and build sustainable businesses. Highlights include:

  • ‘Side Hustle to Success’ – offering guidance on turning a passion for pre-loved fashion into a viable business.
  • ‘Finding Your Niche’ – providing insights on how to stand out in the competitive world of online resale.

LOANHOOD, the circular fashion service, will curate a selection of fashion-forward workshops with a focus on sustainability and self-expression. These will include:

  • ‘Upcycling’ with Cassie Quinn – teaching creative methods for transforming old garments into something new.
  • ‘Denim Repair’ with White Weft – introducing techniques in visible mending and extending the life of beloved pieces.
  • ‘Scrunchie-Making’ with Lydia Bolton – a fun, accessible session where participants can craft their own unique hair accessories.

Multiple sessions will run each day, catering to all skill levels and interests. Together, these workshops and masterclasses will provide an inclusive space for learning, making, and connecting around themes of creativity, sustainability and community.

Katie Wyle, Director of Shopping Centre Management, Northern Europe at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: “Our How We Shop Research reveals the Eco-Fluency trend with 57% of Gen Z and millennials planning to dedicate the majority of their clothing spend to pre-loved items in the near future and two in five consumers calling for high street brands to offer second-hand alongside new collections. This year, our partnership with Depop brings the vibrant energy of digital resale culture into the physical space, whilst our ‘Style to Sell Studio’ offers opportunities for shared learning and a more conscious, empowered community.”

Turn an ordinary weekend at the shopping centre into a great opportunity to have fun and learn new ways to love your pre-loved garments even more.
