About The Brand

Launched in 2018 by French designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin, de Saint Sernin explores the lens of sensuality and sexuality in his new Spring/Summer prêt-à-porter collection.

The label is best known for its underwear and a new category of luxury underwear for men. Most of the garments and accessories are made in France using sustainable practices, with some of the pieces designed with fluidity, no gender in mind.

About The Collection

The meaning behind the title of this collection is interesting. "Le Désir" translates to desire, the centre of this collection. Embracing physicality and sensuality through each piece was essential to creating this ensemble. The collection is a collaboration with Jean Claracq, inspired by a medieval painting from the 15th century, which depicts a tale about a man called Désir who was burning with desire.

The showcase captures an artisanal feel through each of the 34 looks on the runway. Each garment is carefully laced, knotted, or braided by hand.
