MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS fuses YOSHIKI's visions of fashion, design, and lifestyle with glamorous and genderless designs.
As different as day and night, MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS' second presentation at a European Fashion Week is the lighter counterpart to its debut collection where black was ruling free.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection, presented on the 30th of September in Palais de Chaillot during Paris Fashion Week, asserts lightness featuring white as the base tone with black accompanied by accents of pastel colours such as pistachio and light lemon. After colour, art plays a pivotal role in MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS's collection with strikes of black and gold paint on white fabric inspired by German-Franco lyrical abstractionist, Hans Hartung, and a nod to American pop art from the’60ss found in the final looks closing the show: a series of simple geometric shift dresses featuring a jacquard fabric with YOSHIKI's portrait.
About The Collection: Sartorial Touches
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection features 33 looks exclusively crafted with French luxury fabrics, from thick cotton twill, cotton/linen blend tweed with iridescent accents, double silk organza, poplin and Ruschel knit lace with a rich texture.
The shapes are modern and edgy, accentuated by strategically positioned stitching and contrasting black zippers. There are references to the world of traditional kimonos – which YOSHIKI has been experimenting with through his fashion line Yoshikimono, launched in 2011 – now revisited through an even more contemporary and international lens.
To top off these outfits, Grounds contributed with their sneakers; while the accompanying jewellery has been designed exclusively for MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS by fashion designer Juana Martín. These jewels feature whimsical oversized musical notes and letters charms made in 14K gold.
