The second edition of the Sino-French Fashion Week in Paris saw its closure with the showcase of the heritage of Quanzhou in all its splendour.

A modern fusion of traditional elements centred around Quanzhou was the highlight of the last day of 2024 Sino-French Fashion Week.


Quanzhou Meet Paris At The Sino-French Fashion Week 2024

As part of the 2024 Sino-French Cultural and Tourism Year, the second edition of the Sino-French Fashion Week was held from the 27th of September 27 to the 3rd of October at the China Cultural Center in Paris to celebrate Chinese fashion and culture and the relationship between China and France.
 
Undoubtedly, among fashion shows, exhibitions and art forums, the highlight of the event was the closing show featuring Quanzhou, the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, showcasing its rich historical heritage and modern fashion fusion through the "Song-Yuan China, Maritime Quanzhou" theme.
 
The grand final saw thirty exquisite womenswear outfits, blending traditional and modern elements, depicting Quanzhou's World Heritage and cultural legacy. This event fostered cultural exchange between Quanzhou and Paris, symbolising a flourishing friendship that dates back centuries.
 
It also included a heritage exhibition and a cross-sector dialogue on cultural preservation, underscoring Quanzhou's role in the World heritage and fashion landscape.
